Big Brakes

If you’re going to make your van faster it makes sense to think about your stopping power too. Luckily in these vehicles the original brakes (if looked after) are pretty good. If you are going to upgrade your brakes we recommend concentrating on the front brakes as this is where most of the action happens.

We can offer more stopping power with the latest 6 pot calipers from Forge, these come with approx a 13” front disc brake. They are huge and you need 19” wheels at least to run them!

Dan has also built a kit taking the large brakes off of the brand new 180hp vans and can offer this 2 pot kit available for the whole T5 and T5 GP range, assuming you have 18” wheels or bigger. Please bear in mind the kit doesn’t fit every 18” wheel eg early Sportline wheels.
