VW Transporter T5 Facelift

If you love the VW T5 Transporter, then you might just love this a little bit more. We are super excited to see that VW have announced (and released photos) of the new Volkswagen T5 Facelift! The Facelift edition will be out early next year - get down to your local dealer and pop a deposit down on one of these bad boys - these are going to be awesome!

The facelift edition, will be implemented on all versions of the T5 - Transporter, Caravelle, Multivan and California. The van is making it’s debut at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motorshow.

Key new features include: New Turbo Diesel Engines (upto 10% reduction in ful consumption), New Hazard Warning Light for Brake Light, Optional Driver Assist Systems: Side Assist, Lane Change Assistant and a Tyre Monitor Display.

The styling of the new VW T5 Facelift, will see a new front end, which will sport a re-styled grille, new headlights, new fogs for the rear bumper, chrome side rails new exterior mirrors and new 17 and 18 inch alloy wheels + a lot of other features. Inside, you will see a new instrument panel, new steering wheel, new radio/navigation systems, new gear shift indicator and new controls for the Air Con.

Are you looking for a new VW T5 Transporter? Well, if you are, then this might just be the model for you! Volkswagen have just announced that they are launching a Limited Edition VW Transporter Sportline, called the “Limited Edition X”.

The Limited Edition Sportline X builds on the solid foundations of the popular Volkswagen Transporter Sportline, but takes it to the next level. The Transporter Sportline Limited Edition X adds the following special features to the already high-spec’d Sportline:

• Chrome and Black Dakar Alloy Wheels
• Leather Steering Wheel
• Leather Gear Stick
• Black and Blue leather Sport Seats
• Sportline Floor Mats
• Rear Parking Sensors
• Choice of Silver or Blue Paint

It is important to remember that these extras are on top of the Sportline extras, which include: Chrome Grills, Chrome Side Sills, Front and Rear Spoilers. We think that the new VW Transporter Limited Edition X is a great step up from the Sportline, but we still think that any new owner could benefit from a few Vanworx styling features, such as upgrading the small 18 inch alloys, to perhaps a set of 20 Inch Lenso Granzo Alloy Wheels, or an ABT Front Grill. The new edition to the VW Sportline family will cost an additional £500 from the Sportline T30, 174 PS, 2.5-litre TDI PD, with basic retail prices of £25,065 for the short wheelbase T5 panel van, £25,545 for the long wheelbase VW T5 panel van, and £26,805 for the VW T5 Transporter Sportline Limited Edition X kombi.
